Preamble: To help business clients transform ideas into tangible, value-driven, products and solutions through application of multi-dimensional technologies, engineering science, mathematics and advanced analytics.

• Posit 1: Our best ideas have context and shelf-lives.  The position is not new.  The 21st century internetworked reality is that the shelf-lives of great ideas are short.  Global competition suggests that your best ideas could be innovated on by tomorrow morning, somewhere in the world.
• At the core of GridByte^® we integrate wide ranging problem-solving techniques into multi-dimensional thinking matrices.  Taken in isolation, the core problem-solving techniques are well known.  Reduction, regression, inference, hypothesis testing.  Adding to these, we have created engineering-based solutions that do not normally translate to business.  We formulate problem solutions along multiple thinking dimensions.  Recognize that at each juncture in the timeline of most projects, different combinations of problem solving methodologies need to be applied and reapplied.
• GridByte^® successfully applies algorithmic techniques (successive approximation of multi-variate problems, etc), morphological techniques (thinking outside the box is a science—not a buzz-word intention), negative feedback theory, set theory, statistical techniques combined with fuzzy theory, time-based regression and sensitivity testing solutions.  We have also developed non-linear sequencing techniques we call The Director’s Mind™.  We view solutions increasingly as highly non-linear threads marching at different paces, often out of sequence. Apply SWOT techniques to business initiatives allow us to create manageable microcosms for rapid execution of idea.
• These techniques founded in engineering sciences are not generally applied to business problems.  However, as we continue to step into the space of multi-dimensional thinking, GridByte^® continues to see large-scale opportunities to apply these techniques to yield highly optimized technology solutions.  The business cases are compelling.
• Posit 2: The ability to make optimal technology choices with so many different variables is not innate.  If the best solution is the most optimized from an effort and dollars perspective, then the complexities dictate non-seat of the pants approaches.  GridByte^® offers unique skills to these strategics via our Virtual Technology Boardroom™ concept to create a safe internal system for ideas synergy.
• We present our work as a PRACTICE!  The analogy here comes from sports.  At the most elite level of competition, say tennis, we observe that the player that wins is the player that makes the least number of unforced errors under pressure.  The ability to win then is, as Aristotle puts it, a function of habitual practice.
• Will work for bandwidth!  It is simultaneously a joke and a self-effacing recognition of our working environment.  How we work efficiently across multiple disciplines is an organizational gift.  Our practice calls for high efficiency in communications and work structure. Thus we push a very short decision-making methodology.
